I was surprised and pleased to see this little number from Laura Mercier's spring collection. Normally this understated line doesn't go into patterns on their items (with the exception of a basic diamond pattern on their shimmer blocs) so this is a nice change.
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, however, given that the brand had previously released violet-embossed eye shadow palettes last spring.

As with Estee Lauder's floral palettes from this spring, we'll have to wait and see if Laura Mercier continues with these designs.
I notice that you love vinyl toys and hello kitty. I think you would love tarina tarantino jewelry too….have you seen it? the hello kitty mac stuff reminded me of her jewelry too. YOur display is so cute! I am inspired to do one too….but can’t afford all that makeup right now as the shop I worked in just closed and I need to find another job. 🙁

Hi Holly, that’s so funny you mention Tarina Tarantino – I have a ring of hers with a big yellow skull on it and pink rhinestones! Thanks for commenting on the exhibition…sorry to hear about your job. Just remember that the exhibitions I do are result of literally years of accumulating makeup – I don’t buy that much per month because it does get very expensive!
Thanks for stopping by the museum, good luck with the job search!
